October 20 is our lucky day

I know that it could be purely coincidence but I choose to believe that there days that are just so lucky for some people. For us, it is probably October 20.

October 20, 2016 (1 year ago). Ford received a job offer, with a salary that's more than what we were expecting! We were so grateful! Less than 3 weeks of moving here in BC and he's got a job already. It really felt like everything was falling into place.

October 20, 2013 (4 years ago). After almost a year of stressful wait, we finally received an email from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) that a decision has been made on our spousal sponsorship application. It meant one thing -- that after 10 1/2 years of being in a long distance relationship (bf/gf + husband/wife), we will finally be together! You will never imagine how happy and excited we were!

October 20, always be good to us ha! =)
