Oh, I can't believe May is almost over! Time flies so fast!
I have to admit something. I am so tempted to abandon this blog already. I am now very busy taking care of my 6-month-old makulit na baby and I feel na ang dami ko ng na-miss isulat. To be honest, finding time to write is so difficult now.
But I realized that I was sad the past weeks that I am not blogging. I don't care if nobody reads my entries.
Anyway, I promise to write more for myself. Para marami akong balikan later on.

Oops, I have a new Pandora charm nga pala. I now love the month of May -- kasi may another occasion na na dedicated for me. MOTHER'S DAY!
To commemorate my first ever Mother's Day, my husband told me to get a new charm. My husband is not the type who will personally go to the store and choose something for me. He'll ask me exactly what I want then he'll buy it. He's so afraid na ma-okray ko, wala raw kasi siyang taste. Medyo totoo naman haha! Now that we're living together (we used to be in LDR), he would just tell me to buy whatever I want (using his money, of course). Ang praktikal noh? Where did romance go? Hahaha!
I wanted a different "mom" charm pero hindi available sa Pandora West Edmonton Mall. I just settled for this one. Thank you, dear husband!
This is my 7th Pandora charm.

New Pandora Charm: Rocking Horse
Yehey! I finally have a Pandora charm that will commemorate my son's birth!
It's a Rocking Horse!
Last November 22, I just showed a picture of it to my husband and he surprised me by bringing it home that same afternoon, after he went out to buy some groceries! He really is excited to buy anything for/about Nathan!
By the way, I actually saw the rocking horse charm at Pandora WEM when I bought my car charm last August. The sales lady gave me the idea that it's perfect for my upcoming son. I liked it and promised to get it the moment I gave birth. Sakto pa that both my husband and son were born on the year of the horse.
What I love about this charm is that it is quite 'big' (unlike my dangling stilleto) and not that expensive (only $55 + 5% tax). It's my favorite charm to date (not that I have many lol!).

New Pandora Charm: Car
After more than six weeks wait, we are finally getting our new car this afternoon.
This will be our first car purchase as a married couple so to commemorate this special event (haha!), my husband reminded me to get a car charm from Pandora.
.jpg)
So instead of buying a 'birthday charm' last Wednesday, I bought the 'car' one. I find it expensive though, for $65 (plus 5% tax), but I had to purchase it. That's the thing with Pandora charms, you have to get them even if you're not into the design or price because they represent 'milestones,' right?
My next Pandora charm will be something to remember my baby Chicklet's birth. I'll make sure to find a nice one, something that I really really like.

Unang sweldo
I started working on February 1 (Saturday) and was surprised to have received my first ever Canadian salary on February 6. Yep, that was fast. Apparently, February 2 (Sunday) ang cut-off nila kaya nakasweldo agad ako ng pang-two days.
I was very happy. For the first time in three months, I felt a bit of 'independence.'
My husband naman has been very generous to me.
And so, for my very first day off, I had to excuse myself from my in-laws (I told them I had some bank errands haha!) and went to the mall for some 'Me' time.
My good husband gave me a go signal to shop and spend my unang sweldo. I was so happy - feeling emancipated talaga hahaha!
And I even ate at KFC kahit hindi Tuesday!
Kaloka!
Oh well, keri lang. Eh kasi naman two days work lang ang included sa first salary ko. Maganda sana kung full na two weeks tapos uubusin kong lahat! Ang sarap siguro nun! #asapa
--------------------------------------------
By the way, to commemorate my first ever salary here in Canada, I of course bought myself a new Pandora charm.
I originally wanted a horse charm (since Year of the Horse ang 2014 at masipag sa hanapbuhay ang kabayo) pero parang wala sila. I ended up with this Stilleto charm -- to symbolize the fact that I now have my own money to buy my own shoes. Mas ok sana yung Bag charm (I love bags better than shoes) pero dangling kasi ang Stilleto kaya iyon ang pinili ko haha! I promise to buy the Bag charm next time.

Crazy for Pandora
One of the first things I bought when I came here in Edmonton was a Pandora bracelet. I know I am such a late-bloomer when it comes to collecting Pandora charms, but I guess it's better late than never.
I am a very sentimental person and I want every milestone to be celebrated. Pandora charms are indeed perfect to commemorate those milestones.
This January, Pod bought me two more charms (my first was flowers for you, purple murano glass charm because purple was our wedding color motif):
Haha, I am now more excited to collect charms! I've noticed that a lot of Canadians are into Pandora. Ang cute naman kasi.
And by the way, I think I won't be able to resist din their rings. Stackable pala sila.
Bagay naman, di ba? Haha, I need to find a job soon para masustentuhan ang sariling luho!

- Mr. & Mrs. - to celebrate our second wedding anniversary last January 12, 2014
- House - to symbolize our move to our new home this January 24, 2014
